[Incomplete.] Experiments and Boom. [Mayuri and Kabuto.]
Setting: 12th Division.
Characters: Mayuri and Kabuto.
Summary: Mayuri is eager to learn all about the ryoka, their reiatsu, and their abilities.

It had been quite a while since he'd last come in contact with his daughter, his unreliable slut of a daughter, the daughter that had been assigned to capture a reiatsu. Not that he really expected her to flawlessly execute the orders, as he found himself busy-work for the time being. However, there did come a breaking point when he finally became impatient, he became anxious, to see what was coming, if anything at all.

He eyed the large office with a look of boredom. He rarely used this particular room, and in fact, he could even see dust and webs lining the corners and narrow spaces. He was much more comfortable in his laboratory, but he knew that if the subject were to be directed somewhere, it would have been here.

Mayuri idly glanced at his finished stack of papers. His eyes averted to the blank desktop. He twiddled his thumbs.

He began to hum.

Intentionally or not, Kabuto had wandered away from his "guide" into Seireitei. He peered into any room he passed which didn't seem to be occupied. After a few moments of inspection, he moved on down the hallways. As of yet, Kabuto hadn't found anything he wanted to take along with him. He did find it odd not to have been stopped by anyone.

The chances of somebody arriving were slim to nil by now, and with that in mind, Mayuri stood and went to the door, eager to leave the clean, open room. The closer he'd come to the door, however, the stronger something felt in one of his bellies. For a moment he was sure that it was just malfunctioning, but he'd found himself practically blown away once he opened the door. Now both of his bellies were feeling funny, but he wasn't one to protest that.

He looked down the hall to the left. Nobody. He glanced to the right. Somebody. He grinned, for the sensation in his belly was becoming stronger by now. Also judging by what a newbie this character seemed to be, he was almost certain: this was the ryoka.

Mayuri eagerly left his room and clasped his hands together. "Why hello there! You must be the guinea pig. I've been dying to get my hands on you." Not that what he'd said really occurred to him as unusual, he continued grinning in a welcoming fashion.

Kabuto stopped walking once he heard footsteps behind him, which were followed by a voice. Guinea pig? This was going to become interesting. "Ah, I seemed to have lost my guide," He explained himself like he'd just got himself lost in some sort of institution by complete accident. He turned around to face Mayuri afterward. If Kabuto were any less jaded, he'd be somewhat shocked by this... we'll stick with man's... appearance.

His arm extended to that his hand curled around to the child's back, his palm giving him a little nudge as to guide him in the direction of his laboratory.

And how far his arm had extended was quite a long ways. Of course, he hadn't even thought of how his arm was now a meter or so longer, as he had done this nonchalantly. The limb detracted as he approached Kabuto further, although his hand idly crept along his spine. Different people from different places usually wore different fabrics, after all.

"It's not a problem," he explained with a smile. "That Nemu has a tendency to lose her pace. In any case, I'm Kurotsuchi Mayuri-taichou, twelfth faction. And you are?"
